This was such an immersive and fun read! I thoroughly enjoyed it and read it so quickly because I was so invested in the characters and their society.

We follow the Stockton sisters, Darley and Georgiana, and Sasha, who married into the family. Each sister battles with the ups and downs of life, set amongst the glamorous Brooklyn Heights scene and the pressures of a society which is built on the foundations of money, reputation and the family name.

Darley, a mother of two who put her career on hold to raise her children, is navigating motherhood and her position of wealth alongside aviation expert husband, Malcolm.

Sasha, who married into the Stockton family, struggles to feel accepted by her husband Cord's family, and can never seem to escape the connotations of her being after his money.

Georgiana, the millennial daughter of Tilda and Chip Stockton, is deciding what her future looks like with or without her inheritance.

The dynamic between the three women was fascinating to follow and there were some great twists and turns in this too which I didn't expect. Each character had their own immersive plot line and perspective on Brooklyn, which made each chapter just as exciting and fresh as the last.

This was quite different to the genre that I usually read, and I'm so glad I picked it up. I can definitely see how it lives up to the hype surrounding it on social media at the moment, and would highly recommend this for a spring/summer read šŸŒž
