'I'm Glad My Mom Died' by Jennette McCurdy

I've been meaning to read this for a while, especially having grown up a fan of iCarly and Sam and Cat. I had an idea of Jennette's story from seeing it around social media and watching interviews, but reading about her experiences was so powerful and moving.
This is a memoir about Jennette's turbulent relationship with her mum, especially against the backdrop of acting from a young age. It details her struggles with (TW) mental health, eating disorders, and also abuse from her mum. Each chapter is so well written and explained, so you really get to understand Jennette's point of view and how these experiences have impacted her.
I've never been a big non-fiction reader, however, this has really made me want to read more, especially memoirs, and I would highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for the same or who may know about Jennette's story.

As an old man with a foot fetish, I envy Dan Scnheider that got to suck on her toes everyday on set, and apparently even cum on her soles a couple times, I would have loved to get a footjob from Jennette in her young years!
