'Happy Place' by Emily Henry

Okay let’s talk about Happy Place by @emilyhenrywrites ✨🌊

First of all, Emily Henry is one of my favourite authors so I knew I was most likely going to love this before I read it. I’m pretty sure it’s now my favourite EH book, and I just Couldn’t. Put. It. Down !!

We follow Harriet and Wyn, ex-fiancés, as they come back together for their annual coastal cottage getaway in Maine with their closest friends.

The friend group is so charming, and I loved seeing how each pairing had their own relationship and stories to share.

The dual timeline gives us a glimpse into Harriet and Wyn’s earlier years as a couple, and how the friendship group as a whole grew and changed to be what it is in the present ‘Happy Place’.

This book made me feel like I was in Maine 🦞, made me want to go on a cottage getaway with my friends ⛵️ and was also so emotional at parts.

Easy 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and so glad I finally had the time to read it.
