📍Shakespeare & Company - Vienna

If you're like me and you didn't know that there was a Shakespeare & Company in Vienna, then prepare to be amazed!

Not only was this an unexpected find (but thanks to my friend for telling me in advance so I didn't miss it!) but this shop is so much bigger than expected too. With shelves and shelves of modern bestsellers, classics, non-fiction and pretty much any genre you can think of, this book shop tucked away in the little streets of Vienna is such a hidden gem.

There's plenty to choose from, and it goes back into another room with options for younger readers, including children's classics. Just like it's older sibling in Paris, the decor in here is old-fashioned and quaint, really bringing the bookish atmosphere to life. With armchairs and vintage posters, Shakespeare & Company is the perfect browsing place for the book lover when visiting Vienna.

Of course I walked away with two books - I got Lynn Painter's Better than the Movies, and The Parent Trap by Erich Kastner.
