Bookish in Bridgetown

While exploring the beautiful island of Barbados, I was keen to find some of the best bookish spots in the local area. One of the ones that kept coming up when I researched spots in Bridgetown was The Book Den. The Book Den is an amazing used book shop in the capital city, offering a range of books from classics to bestsellers. There is so much to choose from, and the shop has a bookcase for each genre, as well as tables and buckets with special deals.

Tucked down the side of an apartment complex, complete with a little deck and chairs to sit and read on, it is a real hidden gem and I’m so glad we found it! The owner is friendly and happy to chat about the shop's collection, and you could easily spend a while just browsing the shelves.

I picked up a historical romance, The Viscount who Vexed Me, and it was $9 Barbados (about £3.50).
